Visualizing data in reports and dashboards brings enormous amounts of value to any application. Being able to blend the reports into the rest of the application as if it were part of the user experience is very important also.
I wrote about how I try to design my reports with a consistent user experience as I think it adds not only a professional look and feel, but also to the credibility of the content of my reports.
But we can take it a step further. Consistency can be added across reports, but also across the entire user experience of Engagement Cloud. In the opportunity list screen in Engagement Cloud, the win probability is formatted in a colorful way. There is no reason not to implement the same formatting in our reports like in the example below.
